Washington Irving Bishop was an American mentalist and mind reviewer of some repute toward the ending of the 1800s . Born in New York City in 1855 , Bishop spent years work up up his routine and eventually embarked on a world term of enlistment where he showcased his " thought version " skill . Bishop was adamant that he had no supernatural power or talent — he just was super skilled at picking up on body language and the signals citizenry often unconsciously give off .

Just a few hour afterwards , two doctors — Dr. Ferguson and Dr. Irwin — do an autopsy on Bishop ’s body , cutting out and removing his wit , reportedly without the coroner ’s consent . Bishop had collapsed around midday that 24-hour interval and the autopsy was performed at 3:45 p.m. , leading some people — including Bishop ’s mother , Eleanor Fletcher Bishop — tobelievethat the mentalist was actually still live when his autopsy commenced . Which would mean that Bishop ’s own PM was what killed him .
