Victoria Beckhamcouldn’t have been happier to seeMeghan Marklewearing one ofher designs to Christmas Day church servicesthis past year.
The British fashion designer, who attendedthe royal weddingherself to celebratePrince Harryand Meghan on May 19, opened up about what it was like to see the Duchess of Sussex in one of her dresses during an appearance onLive! With Kelly and Ryan.
“I mean she looked so beautiful, it was such a lovely surprise to wake up to on Christmas morning,” Beckhamsaid. “You know, I think she’s such a beautiful, strong and wonderful woman – so it was a huge honor!”

But interestingly enough, Beckham’s designs weren’t always the style Meghan would immediately think she could pull off up until now.
In May 2017, she spoke toGlamourand revealed that while Beckham’s dresses were something that she admired, but felt they didn’t flatter her body type.
“What I’m starting to learn is, even though things look amazing on the hanger, it doesn’t mean they’re going to look amazing on me,” shetold the magazineof her time on the USA seriesSuitsand the influence it had on her style.
Meghan continued, “For example, I love Victoria Beckham dresses, but I don’t have the long torso to support that silhouette.”
