Zeke SmithandNico Santosare engaged!
The two-timeSurvivorcontestant and theSuperstoreactor added to their love story with a surprise proposal at the2022 GLAAD Media Awardson Saturday night.
The couple has been together for four years after first meeting at the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards. Smithconfirmed their relationshiplater that year.
“I guess everybody knows about my hot little 25 year-old boyfriend now. Oh, haaayyy @nicosantos,” he wrote on Twitter at the time.
In addition to six seasons onSuperstore, Santos is also known for his role inCrazy Rich Asians. Meanwhile, Smith famously competed on back-to-back seasons ofSurvivor—Millennials vs. Gen Xin 2016 and 2017’sGame Changers.

“I didn’t want to be the ‘first transgenderSurvivorcontestant,'“Smith told PEOPLEat the time. “I’m not ashamed of being trans, but I didn’t want that to be my story … I just wanted to go out on an adventure and play a great game. I just wanted to be known for my game.”

“I think [the other contestant] hoped others would believe that trans people are dangerous and fraudulent. That reasoning is infinitely worse than him outing me because it’s the same one used to discriminate against, attack, and murder trans people,” he added. “What’s great is that nobody bought it … It’s important people see he lost that fight. The message should be clear that hate will always lose.”
The 33rd GLAAD Media Awards will be available to stream on Hulu starting April 16.
