Police temporarily detainedOffsetat a Los Angeles shopping mall earlier this week, multiple outlets report.
The outlet reported that police found two guns, took the group in for questioning and soon released Offset when two of the other detainees said the weapons belonged to them.
“It’s good; we fixed it up. It ain’t nothing, it wasn’t me,” the rappertold TMZfollowing the incident. “It was the wrong man. I was treated fairly, no cap. Everything’s good. They found the right person.”
Representatives for Offset, the LAPD and the Grove did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
