A Walt Disney World guest jumped into the World Showcase Lagoon at Epcot, according to several videos shared on social media.

Reiter’s caption implies the man was doing so to win a sizable bet. “Guy jumps into freezing cold Epcot Disney water for 60 thousand dollars,” the text over the video reads.

In the clip, the man is shown climbing over the railing of a small bridge within the World Showcase’s Italy pavilion. Other visitors can be heard shouting to him from off-camera.

“You’re building a crowd! You’ve gotta go,” one person yells.

After turning sideways and jumping in feet-first, he swims to the side and climbs over a gondola, before making it to the stairs to get out.

Another guest could then be heard yelling: “Make a run for it!” and “run, run, run!” Though it’s unclear if any sort of chase ensued, or if the guest was escorted out of the park afterwards.

The caption of the Tiktok reads: “Why did@Elit3Trainersjump in that freezing cold#disney#epcotwater for 60k like that 😅#disneyworld#foodnwine#halloween#bet#fyp,”

While this was certainly a shocking display, it isn’t the first time someone’s broken Disney’s rules and faced the consequences.

Pitch PerfectstarRebel Wilson was banned from Disneyfor 30 days, after taking a photo where it was forbidden. “I took a photo in a secret bathroom inside Disneyland, which is illegal…and I got officially banned for 30 days," Wilsonshared onThe Daily Showearlier this year.

“But they called me up and said, ‘Rebel, what 30 days do you not want to come to Disneyland because you’re away filming a movie or something?'” she recalled. “And I said, ‘Oh, June would be fine.”

Likewise in 2018, another man was permanently banned from Disney theme parks afterholding up “Trump 2020” signson a number of rides, including Splash Mountain.

A spokesperson told PEOPLE of the incident, “Walt Disney World welcomes all Guests to enjoy our parks; however, demonstrations and the display of signs and banners is not permitted on the premises, We have previously reminded this guest about our rules.”
