Luke Macfarlaneis in for a very special Christmas.
While speaking with PEOPLE at the Hallmark Channel Countdown to Christmas Holiday Party in Los Angeles, the actor, 43, shared what he’s most looking forward to this holiday season.
“I have a daughter, and so I’ll be spending Christmas with my daughter for the first time, and that’s going to be very exciting,” McFarlane sweetly shares with PEOPLE.
Macfarlane is dad to5-month-old daughter Tess, whom he shares with partner Hig Roberts.
“She’s not quite old enough to probably realize what’s going on, but there will be stockings, and there will be decorations, and there will be a tree.”

TheBrosstar welcomed his first daughter in June,sharing the exciting news on his Instagram page.
“Tess Eleanor Macfarlane— Born June 4th 2023. We started life with some hectic days and received world class care,” Macfarlane wrote. “On Father’s Day we got to take her home.”
“Her Dads can’t wait to introduce her to all the remarkable people and the beautiful world we live in,” he added.
The new dad held his newborn in the first photo of the carousel. In the first clip of the carousel, the couple walked through the hallways of the hospital with their daughter in a carrier.
Roberts — a former two-time champion alpine skier and now sports agent—can then be seen gazing at little Tess as she held onto his finger with her hand.
