Just a mere three months afterKim Kardashian West claimed she was “over” her feudwithTaylor Swift, the reality starseemingly shaded the Grammy winner— again — right as the singer released her new single.
At around 9 p.m. PST, Kardashian West posted an assortment of snake jewelry to her Instagram Stories. Though she kept the text to a minimum, fans immediately took her post as a dig at Swift, who released her highly anticipated song “ME!” at the exact same time.

“Kim Kardashianjust posted a bunch of snake jewelry the same time Taylor’s new single comes out …. THE SHADE,” wrote one fan on Twitter.
“@KimKardashian needs to grow the f— up she’s acting like a 5 year old throwing a tantrum trying to throw shade because she KNOWS Taylor made millions off of her Rep tour because of her bullying snake campaign,” tweeted one Swiftie. “Like no need to post snake jewelry at the SAME time taylor is.”
“Over it … I feel like we’d all moved on,” said Kardashian West, who said in a later segment that she would rather be stuck in an elevator with Swift than Drake. (She and Kanye, 41, also have acomplicated history with the “Hotline Bling” rapper.)
Opening up in herEllecover story last month, Swift alluded to her feud with the Wests and wrote that she felt “lower than … ever” when Kardashian and her fans used the snake emoji to bully her.
Swift wrote that the “hate campaign” affected her deeply, but added that she took control of the bullying when she brought a 63-foot cobra named Karyn onher sold-out Reputation Stadium Tourin 2018. (Her slithery friend even gets a cameo in the “ME!” video — which has racked up nearly 30 million views on YouTube since its release — albeit with TS7-aesthetic markings.)
“I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans,” Swift inElle. “It’s the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with ‘lol.’”
“It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us,” Swift continued, “but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it.”
Swift’s new song — which she co-wrote with Brendon Urie (the Panic! at the Disco frontman is also featured on the song and in the video) and Joel Little — is her first since she left her longtime home Big Machine Label Group andmoved over to Republic Records and Universal Music Group.
“‘ME!’ is a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it,” she told Robin Roberts during an interview on Thursday. “With a pop song, we have an ability to get a melody stuck in people’s heads and I just want it to be one that makes them feel better about themselves.”
