On Friday 13th March 2015 I have my Phantom 2 drone pipe fitted with a GoPro Hero 4 up onto the North Face of Ben Nevis to do some ethereal filming .
I wax Ledge Route , a grad 2 wintertime mountaineering route , and shoot myself as I climbed .
This labor took 4 battery and I was rush to climb quicker than the batteries evanesce , whilst composing the shots and trying to get the footage I want . Its pretty difficult doing it this way , the ultimate mountain selfie perhaps , its definitely easy to compose the dig when filming other citizenry , but I enjoyed the challenge . It was a arresting sidereal day ! The footage has been edited in FCP - X and the music is royalty free from Pond 5 .
