UnlikeUber CEO Travis Kalanick , Elon Musk still warm a seat on Trump ’s strategical and Policy Forum . It ’s part of make for the game , we suppose , and Musk himself has framed his choice to remain a voice in the administration as a means of getting moremoderate opinions into the President ’s ear . Maybe he draw a blank about all that ?
in short after noting a Tesla driver’sbravery in stopping a potentially baneful accident , Musk sent out a chronological sequence of three tweet which were almost immediately delete .
Two called the executive order Trump signed ban travelers from Iran , Iraq , Libya , Somalia , Sudan , Syria and Yemen from entering the US “ not right . ” Not “ unseasonable ” mind you , or “ probably unconstitutional ” or “ an affront to American value . ” Just … “ not right . ”

The tweets also referred to this executive order as a Muslim proscription , which , while precise , is a term the administration has tried to press back on — an administration Musk seems captive to stay in the good graces of . Were these drafts mail in error ? A cry for aid ?
they were earlier drafts that I accidentally published . I said the same thing a week already .

Musk claims they were the former , reference a tweet from January 28th with markedly flaccid language : “ not right ” was reduced to an even wimpier “ not the best ” ; “ Moslem ban ” because “ ledger entry ban . ” Ah , to cerebrate what could have been .
The blanket entry banning on citizens from sealed principally Moslem countries is not the good way to come up to the country ’s challenges

Meanwhile , Musk ’s tweeted endorsements of Secretary of State and former Exxon - Mobil CEO Rex Tillerson remain undeleted . In any example they remain far less embarrassing than Press Secretary Sean Spicer’saccidental password tweeting habit .
