The Bejing Digital building was n’t the breakaway maven of 2008 Olympics architecture , but if Michael Phelps work up electrical circuit boards , things might have been unlike . Luckily , one modder created a case to mark the building .
Not just some basement mod , the original renderings of this PC were created by Gert Swolfs , the same guy cable who did the original renderings for the actual building . The case itself was then fashioned from woodwind instrument and lined with aluminum . so as to match a full - sized video card along with a slew of other big element , a small platform box was constructed under the cube itself .
The technical facet of lighting the casing was an idea that evolved over time . The detergent builder start with liquid crystal display , considered an light-emitting diode array and then settled for childlike UV Blue acrylate resin .
