The U.S. Capitol Police on Wednesday announced the apprehension of a defendant accuse in the online doxing of “ one or more ” U.S. senator .
Capitol Police identified the suspect as Jackson A. Cosko , a 27 - class - honest-to-god of Washington , D.C. The constabulary did not indicate which U.S. senator — or potentially senator — the suspect is charge of doxing .
Cosko is as former Senate popular staffer , who , at the prison term of the incident , work as an intern for Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee , Democrat of Texas , according toPolitico . He was reportedly fired following his arrest .
