Are you old-hat of waiting for George R. R. Martin to finish his latest installment ofA Song of Ice And Fire , calledThe Winds of Winter ? Well , maybe you do n’t have to be .
A software engineer calledZack Thoutthas used unreal intelligence service ( AI ) to seek to write the Quran himself , reportsMotherboard . Known as a recurrent neuronal internet ( RNN ) , it has trawled through the 5,376 page of the first five Holy Writ , and has taken a stab at write the 6th .
The solution are interesting , if not grammatically perfect . Thoutt start out each chapter supplying a prime word to the RNN , and then told it how many words to write . Then the connection was left to its own devices . you may learn the first five chapters onGitHub .
“ Tyrion could get a line Lord Aemon ’s cough , ” the RNN begin . “ ’ I miss for it . Why did you right ? ’ ”
It goes on to take its own direction with the history , present a newfangled role called Greenbeard . It promise Jamie Lannister will * gasp * kill his sister Cersei , and that dragon queen Daenerys will be poison by her advisor Varys .
Of course , Martin ’s actual plot line is likely to differ wildly . But it ’s fun notwithstanding to see AI see his language and style , and then attempt to embolden it . Here ’s another selection .
“ Jaime yelp , in the dirt , and came to mount off beside his bedchamber , and we could almost find the tunnel at once , but we ’d shut it without fight if she spill the beans , then , and you may storm woods for fervidness to the Dame Rebecca West , where we feed the others . The blackleg come home to their lives ! ”
Thoutt noted that despite having quite a lot of pages , his RNN would actually work better with about 100 times more content , and much simple lexicon . It ’s also not too secure at picking up on what happened in old book , such as recall character that died .
" Martin is apparently very descriptive in his writing , so those supernumerary adjective and the fictional locations and title are just more complicatedness for the meshwork , " Thoutt told Motherboard .
