Apple made a historic and much - needed step onwards today ; it ’s last position itsold , terrible headphonesto respite . The new ones , dubbed “ EarPods ” mark a second of a shift , but still retain their iconic , bloodless , hey - look - at - me - I’ve - got - an - iPhone - in - my - sac color . Unlike the old ‘ phones , these guys are the in - spike type , and will hopefully sound and fit a little good than the good quondam - fashioned form . They ’ll be coming bundle with iPhone 5 , the iPod Touch , and the iPod nano , and arealso uncommitted separately starting now , and cost $ 29 .

It might not be the great iPhone 5 update , or the one you ’re the most excited for , but it ’s probably the one that was the longest time come . Hopefully they ’ll justify their weird looking by being salutary than their predecessors ; that seems like it should be an easily achievable goal .
