Production is supposed to start in Vancouver this September and casting has yet to be harbinger .
There ’s no prescribed word on how this picture show will go about the franchise , but rumor is it would involve a “ technologically advanced ” wench . That sense almost in footprint with several subsequence that have taken the serial and the character of Chucky — both of whom debuted in 1988 — in campy and uncivilised novel directions . However , there ’s no verification if it will actually even be Chucky as the grampus doll , if Brad Dourif will return as the vox of Chucky , or if series creator Don Mancini will be involved .
