There ’s a pot in Heather Jack ’s “ Let ’s Not Panic ” that we ’ve realise before , but it ’s been arranged in such a fun way that it does not matter .
From the framing gimmick of the healer ’s office to the neurotic neighbour to the asteroid hurtling toward New York , “ Let ’s Not Panic ” uses a lot of common figure of speech . Even the elbow room they ’re wrench on their fountainhead in the end is n’t specially unexampled . But the charm of it all is in the performance , particularly from Lyle Friedman as Sadie , and the short film format is at its best here , where nothing which could be mincing or plaguy outstays its welcome . It ’s fun , comic , and fast .
