Winner – Into the Ink
This contest was a lot of sport , and it was backbreaking to decide which pic to go with ! I tried as much as potential to last out away from mirrors for this challenge and played around with legerdemain and making forcible object that look to stretch into eternity . The picture I choose for this competition is really a mental picture of the interior of a composition cone . What I did was make a black border with a busy bee around the edges of a 8×11 piece of paper , then undulate that into a tight cone . I then tap this cone cell over my genus Lens and then take a whole crew of pictures using different firing generator ( must have look idiotic ) . This particular picture was taken with my desk lamp over top of the eye of the cone , which give me the fade in and fade out ( take on a little bit with the direct contrast and brightness as well ) . It reminds me of place , and every sentence I look at the picture I feel as though I am being sucked into a black hole and into infinity . Hopefully you feel the same ! Panasonic Lumix DMC - G2 , Lens : 14 - 42 ( shot at 14 mm ) , ISO : 100 , f/3.5 , 1/20 sec .

Nebotičnik
“ Nebotičnik ” ( Slovenian for “ skyscraper ” ) is a prominent high - ascending located in the marrow of Ljubljana , Slovenia , and is one of the metropolis ’s most placeable watershed . The building ’s turbinate staircase extend up to the top of the building which is 70.35 m in high spirits . When you look down from the top of the staircase it almost feels like it ’s unnumerable . And it look awe-inspiring . I ’ve never been there ; this challenge was the perfect self-justification to go up and see the view of the urban center as well as the whorled staircase . I was a bit lightheaded from walking all the way of life up to the top of the stairway ; when I looked down from the top it almost matt-up as if the spiral was commit me downwards , the bottom in spades appearing to be nowhere to be seen . The cerise bannister made a nice demarcation to the grey step . It felt complete for the challenge so I took the photo . canyon EOS 60D , Canon EF - S 18 - 135 mm outfit lens , ISO 800 , f3.5 , 1/200sec , 18 millimeter

Infinite Enough
At first I tried something with mirrors , but that did n’t turn out too well . So I had a change of tenderness ( thanks to my girlfriend ) and alternate to a pipe with the camera on one side and an articulatio cubiti pipe on the other . While taking the photo , I used the flash to flash into the pipe on the other side . NikonD300 with a Nikkor 18 - 200 mm lense @18 mm ; ISO was at 200 ; F - Stop at f/22 ; Exposure time 6 s
a Nikon SB-900 Flash in RPT musical mode remotely triggered ; Output floor was at 1/128 ; 10 heartbeat at 10 Hz
Is that eternity ? No

Is it boundlessly nerveless ? Maybe
Is it good than shooting in mirrors ? Definitely , yes !

Age Six, Going On ∞
I had see this type of pic before and want to give it a snapshot . Luckily I was able-bodied to chance up my ISO to keep my 6 year old in focus long enough to create the shots needed . My first go around I thought I would strain to do some lite picture in the photos to seek to tell my photos from the pack but by photo 3 my mini torch died . So I dispute those photos and make up one’s mind to process the 2nd to last picture in B&W so it would be surrounded by the last color photo . I was proud of with the outcome . Most of the photos were shot at unlike context , but they were all shot with the Canon T2i with the Rokinon 14 mm Lens . The last picture is at ISO 200 at 1/5 of a second . The lens was set up manually at around f4 .

Infinite Climb
I had no creative idea for this workweek challenge until I ended up in one of the NYC turning point buildings and thought of the ever continuous stairs . I did n’t have any meter to set up my tripod , so I just bumped my ISO to 800 and set aperture to f2.8 for a hand-held shot . Set the crystalline lens to its lowest zoom of 17 mm and take a few shot . In post processing I added some rent toning to give the strait expect a bit more quondam feeling . Canon T2i .

The Long Tube
The theme is a large collection of magnetic sphere ( generic no - name brand name , not the expensive name steel kind ) , organise into a longsighted tube . The camera was set up so that the centre of the lens looked directly down the heart and soul of the tube . An external visible light was used to supply luminosity through the pickle in between the spheres , and a flash was used to provide filling light source after being mull off suspended piece of theme that were strategically placed above the tube-shaped structure . A very small aperture was used to increase the depth of playing area as much as potential , but even using this the DOF was still quite shallow . A long exposure was ask to get enough lightness with such a small aperture . This image was take with a Canon T3i , the EF - S 18 - 55 mm kit lens , and a Canon Speedlite 430EX . Shutter : 30 Sec , Aperture : f/32 , ISO : 800
